The Boardwalk is the short walk that makes the biggest difference day to day. Lime e-bikes and scooters dock on the plaza there, so a night out doesn't need a car or a ride home.

The Greenbelt matters more than people expect once they're living here. It runs the whole length of Garden City and gets you into downtown Boise by bike without a road crossing — which counts for a lot when you're working nights and don't want to drive on your days off. Side trails drop down to gravel bars on the river where, most mornings, you'll have the water to yourself.
